Feeling tired? Depressed?

Have you tried aroma therapy? I know right what does that have to do with witches?

Well women who were tried for witchcraft way back in 1600s were women or men who were helping others with a common cold, or flu, or a rash and they were putting doctors out of clients. Or they were just rich and someone wanted to get their hands on their land. They used teas and brews and herbs and smells to heal.

For energy-  aromas like Bergamont & Coriander, Orange and Ginger, and Lemon zest work well. Think clean and citrus.  You could even get an oil diffuser and essential oils such as lemon grass, eucalyptus (also good for congestion), peppermint ( If you brew a tea or eat a candy it is good for upset stomach. Peppermint is awesome & full of all kind of benefits), rosemary.

For depression- aromas like grapefruit can be very uplifting.

The great thing about aroma therapy is that it's pretty popular at the moment. You can get diffusers in all different styles. Mine takes a clean cotton and has a little fan that blows the smell. It was around $15 at Walmart and the oils are about $6. It can be found in the Pharmacy near the vitamins.  If little blue lights or sounds a fans bother you, they also have bottles with wood sticks inside that soak up the oil and spread it through out. You can even bypass oil all together and use incense or a wax tart melter. All three can be found inexpensively in Walmart's candle isle.

Also, for more energy or to help with depression. Try foods rich in Vitamin B12 and Vitamin D. Get a little bit of sunlight each day. Believe it or not its been proven that sunlight helps with depression & given that I personally suffer from Bipolar Manic Depression those vitamins help a lot more than anyone gives them credit for.

For a proper nights sleep so that you don't wake up tired- Chamomile teas, chamomile oil, lavender oil and also melatonin.  If you take Melatonin (it's a natural chemical in your body that helps you sleep) please remember that it is a sleep aid. Take it right before bed and allow yourself at least 8 hours of sleep.

I'll post more tips and tricks later or you know feel free to add comments to help others below.

And please, don't be a Negative Nancy- you help no one that way, not even yourself.
