I have a runny nose. It's allergies. Lets talk homeopathic medicine.

So, I have numerous books on homeopathy and what not. I like to learn what I can to avoid doctors.

Eucalyptus is great for a stuffy nose that's why they put it in Vick's Vapor, but what else is good when your allergies go crazy?

Well lets grab my books. and do some reading

For seasonal allergies- 1-2 tsp fresh cilantro juice 2-3 times daily (I hate the smell of cilantro!)
Lubricate nostrils with small amount of ghee -put a little bit on your pinky and put it inside your nose- it blocks the dust and pollen

Itchy red eyes? Rose water can be used as a cooling eye drop.

Eat a small amount of local bee pollen daily. Increase until you can eat as much as a teaspoon or so. (I've heard this with local honey just in case honey and pollen are considered different )

Sinus Congestion? Combine equal parts of licorice and ginger powder add 1 tsp of this to 1 cup hot water. When it became drinking temperature add 1 tsp raw honey (NEVER ADD HONEY TO BOILING WATER< ITS TOXIC!) take this 3 times a day

Sinus Headaches- make a paste from dried ginger powder (or cinnamon) and apply to the forehead. avoid it getting into your eyes. allow to dry then remove it.

Hay Fever- 2 parts elderberry flower, 1 part Ephedra, 1 part Eyebright, 1 part Golden Seal-  A cup of this tea drunk 2 or three times a day. Start at least a month before hay fever season to prevent it - also Vitamin C and Garlic with a low mucus diet will help

Wild Licorice- chew the root for a sore throat and coughs. It contains an antiviral compound and was traditionally used for soothing irritated mucous membranes, bronchitis, coughs and other bothers.

Chamomile- it has so much good for it that I can't even fathom listing it all so I'll just not here my favorite - tea from the flower- inflammation, sleep aid, antibacterial.

Marshmallow (yes this is a plant) - sore throat, inflammation, cough suppressant,

Butterbur- ancient Greeks used this for asthma infusions of root or leaf treats cough, hoarseness, bronchial infections

Stinging Nettle- reduces sneezing and itching of hey fever (haven't found if its a tea or paste)

Well that's all for now - hope you find some of this helpful- the waterfall that is my nose needs attention.
