Muscovite is the commonest form of mica. It is a mystical stone with strong angelic contact, stimulating awareness of the higher self. Used in scrying, this visionary stone links to the highest spiritual realms.
Violet Muscovite opens the higher crown chakras and facilitates raising consciousness to a very fine vibration.
Fuchsite is also a form of Muscovite ( It's shown in an earlier blog)
Nebula Stone
I always try to find the raw form of the stone for pictures, because you always see them polished. With this stone however, It's similar to another and most of the information I've found the raw photos are of a type of Jasper and not of the Nebula Stone. So, for this one I picked the coolest polished image.
Black with green spots
Dense stone with distinct patches
A new stone recently appearing on the market
Southwestern US and Mexico
Composed of four minerals, Nebula Stone is said to have unique metaphysical properties, which are still being explored. It is known to blend vibration of light carried in its Quartz component into the physical body, enlightening the cells and activating their consciousness. This raises overall conscious-awareness, bringing remembrance of the soul's spiritual roots.
Herb
Cowslip
Parts Used: Yellow Petals and the root
Collection: The flower corollae should be gathered, without the green calyx, between March and May. Dry quickly in the shade. The roots should be unearthed either before Cowslip flowers or in the Fall. Over collecting has led this plant becoming increasingly rare. Only pick if present in abundance and then only pick limited amounts.
Cowslip is an excellent, generally applicable relaxing, sedative remedy. It will ease reactions to stress and tension, relaxing nervous excitement and facilitating restful sleep. It may be used with safety in bronchitis, colds, chills, and coughs. Try it in nervous headaches and insomnia.
Infusion for petals: pour a cup of boiling water onto 2 teaspoonfuls of the petals and let infuse for 10-15 minutes. This should be drunk three times a day.
Decoction for root: Put 1 teaspoonful of the root in a cup of water, bring to boil, and simmer for five minutes. Take a cup three times a day
Cramp Bark
Parts Used: Dried Bark
Collection: The bark is collected in April and May, Cut into pieces, and dried.
Cramp Bark shows by its name the richly deserved reputation it has as a relaxer of muscular tension and spasm. It has two main areas of use. Firstly in muscular cramps and secondly in ovarian and uterine muscle problems. Cramp bark will relax the uterus and so relieve painful cramps associated with periods. In a similar way it may be used to protect from threatened miscarriage. Its astringent action gives it a role in the treatment of excessive blood loss in periods and especially bleeding associated with menopause.
Decoction: put 2 teaspoonfuls of the dried bark into a cup of water and bring to the boil. Simmer gently for 10-15 minutes. This should be drunk hot three times a day.
Cucumber
Part Used: Whole fruit, seeds.
The seeds of the cucumber are similar in effect to those of Pumpkin, as they also possess anti-tapeworm properties. The main use of Cucumber is as a cosmetic. The juice or fresh fruit is cooling, healing, and soothing to the skin.
For tapeworm infestations take 2 ounces of ground seeds and mix them with sugar or huney. Take while fasting and followed after two hours by a cathartic (a purgative).
