Smithsonite is a stone of tranquility, charm, kindness, and favorable outcomes. 

Blue-Green Smithsonite heals emotional and other wounds by bringing in universal love. Gently releasing anger, fear, and pain, it balances the energy field between the etheric and emotional bodies, and eases panic attacks, assists in attaining the heart's desire, promotes friendship, and is auspicious in midwifery and for nurturing babies.

Greater Celandine

Parts Used: Roots or aerial parts

Collection: The root should be unearthed in teh late summer or fall and dried in the sun or shade. The foliage should b gathered at the time of flowering (May to June) and dried as quickly as possible in the shade. 

At therapeutic doses, Greater Celandine is an excellent remedy for the treatment of infections of the gallbladder and gallstones. At higher doses, this plant is poisonous, causing powerful purging of the digestive tract. It may be used as an antispasmodic remedy in stomach pain. Externally, the orange latex from the stem may be used in the treatment of verrucae, skin tumors, and tinea ( a fungal infection of the skin). It has been found that the alkaloid chelidonine inhibits mitosis.

CAUTION: Do not exceed the dose given below

Decoction: put 2 teaspoonfuls of the herb or 1 teaspoonful of the root in a cup of cold water, bring to boil, then remove from the heat. Let stand for 10 minutes. Take one cup twice a day

NOTE: It is dangerous to exceed this dose.
