I think, Poppets can be used for more than just causing malice and revenge on a spiteful coworker or a pain in the ass relative. Karma can do it's work, sometimes its not worth it to have that revenge hanging over your head. Poppets have many uses: the confidence to try out for the soccer team, protection during a race, etc. Is your child or someone close having nightmares? Making a knight in shining armor poppet for them for protection could carry the bad dreams away. Have you seen all those damned adorable string dolls made by voodoo and other various companies in the key chain isles and metaphysical shops? Those are versions of Poppets! Different decor and colors are for different things.
