Winter Solstice is the time when the sun is reborn and its light and warmth begin to expand. it is an ideal time to make a wish in the form of a magical intention and set forth into the ether.
Odin and his Wild Hunt are pertinent to the more ancient roots of the modern diety Santa Claus (thats right he's a wish granting man who drives a sleigh of flying reindeer that makes him a god. Ha! and christians thought they were giving children "hope." I'm sorry was that a mean thought popping where it didn't belong.
--Light a red candle for Odin's likeness, place your wish next to it, bake some cinnamon rolls. Invision your wish spiraling toward the sun and Odin, eat your cinnamon roll to internalize your wish.
The Llewellyn's Wiches' datebook is what I used in my previous post to help you with decorations.
Also in the datebook- this months full moon is The Goose Moon!
