Parts Used: Dried Aerial 

Collection: Collect before flowers bloom, dried carefully in the sun. 

Betony feeds and strengthens the central nervous system and also has a sedative action. It finds use in Nervous debility associated with anxiety and tension. It will ease headaches and neuralgia when they are of nervous origin.

Infusion: pour a cup of boiling water onto 1-2 tsps of the dried herb and leave to infuse for 10-15 minutes. Should be drunk 3 times a day.
