Spellwork- Luck

I encourage everyone to leave their comfort zone and work on things they want to learn more about. So, I've been trying to leap out of mine in a few ways. First, creating and running this blog. Second, creating the Coven page with friends and trying to get a group of close friends in one place at the same time for practices and meetings (sorry I'm kinda failing) and 3. Remembering that if I'm going to help all witches, I need to cover spellwork.

Todays work is brought to you by The Book of Spells. The author is Nicola de Pulford.

I chose Luck as this theme, so I'm going to head to 110-126 for Lucky Charms and Life Savers and find myself a favorite.

This Spell has my kinda ingredients! Lets give it a shot!

Encompassing Luck

You will need 4 Red and 4 Green candles
A glass of wine (See See!)
Some edible seeds or nuts
A round pebble

Place the candles alternating the color in a large circle, aligning them to the 8 compass directions. North, Northeast, East, Southeast, South, Southwest, West, Northwest. Place the glass of wine in the center and the nuts next to it. Keep the pebble in your left hand throughout the spell. It represents the ever turning Circle of Life and the universe. Light the north candle first, then travel to the center of the circle. Dip a seed or nut into the wine, and making your wish, eat it. Repeat until all the candles are alight, working your way around the circle in a clockwise direction. You may find it helpful to break your wish down into a series of eight steps, and to visualize an individual step as you light each candle. When you have finished, sit in the middle of your glowing circle, Drink the rest of the wine as a toast to the world, and keep the pebble as a lucky charm.

**Bonus points for being able to drink the ceremonial wine!!**
