Parts Used: Fresh or dehydrated juice from the leaves
May be used internally where a poerful cathartic is needed. In a small doasage it increases the menstrual flow. Externally the juice is used fresh for minor burns, sunburn, incsect bites, etc. 
As Aloe stimulates uterine contractions, it should be avoided during pregnancy. As it is excreted in the mother's milk, it should be avoided during breastfeeding, or it may be a purgative to the child.
