Spellwork- Blessing a baby

I am struggling with this whole spellwork blog. I'm just not that into it. There's so much for me to cover and spells are not my favorite. I have done this one before, and because everyone my age either is having a baby, has a baby (or 3), or knows someone having a baby. I thought well Why the hell not.

Todays work is brought to you by The little Box of Spells by Lucy Summers

You need: 7 lengths of embroidery thread at 20 inches in red, orange, yellow, blue, indigo, and violet
a selection of small colored beads or charms

lay out the cut threads in the order of the rainbow. Tie them together 2 inches from the end and secure them to a flat surface. Starting with red at the left, pass it over the top of the other threads, then under and up through the loop. pull the knot tight and repeat 9 times, making sure each knot is tight against the last. Add a small bead or charmhere then knoth the orange thread. Continue with the rest of the colors and beads and as you knot each color recite the appropriate blessing.

RED: May strength and courage be with you all your life, sheilding you from adversity
ORANGE: May you have the gift of imagination and the ability to bring your dreams into reality.
YELLOW: May happiness fill your life and may you know few sorrows.
GREEN: May you always be secure-with a roof over your head, food on the table, and clothes upon your back.
BLUE: May you always be healthy in body and mind.
INDIGO: May your mind be ever sharp and always ready to learn.
VIOLET: May you be blessed with the love and protection of your Guardian Angels.

[Child's Name], may this charm represent the blessings upon your life and may you thrive from this moment on. Blessed be.

Finally tie the two ends together to form the good luck bracelet.
