Parts Used: Dried or fresh in season aerial parts
Leaves may be harvested 2 or 3 times a year between June and September.
Cut them off young shoots when they are approx 12 inches long. Dry in shade in a temp no higher than 95 F (thats 35 C) 
It is rich in essential oil containing citral, citronellal, geraniol, and linalol; bitter principles; flavones; resin
It acts as a carminative, antispasmodic, anti-depressive, diaphoretic, hypotensive.
In digestive troubles, it may be compned with Hops, Chamomile, or Meadowsweet. For stress and tension it will combine with Lavender and Lime Blossom.
Infusion: Pour cup of boiling water onto 2-3 teaspoonfuls of the dried herb or 4-6 fresh leaves. leave well covered to infuse for 10-15 minutes. A cup of this tea should be drank in the mornin and the evening, or when needed.
